More About Andrew

Andrew holds a BSc and an ISCP.Dip.Canine.Prac, and in his work as a behaviour consultant for Pet Remedy, as well as his role as an expert advisor for Canine Arthritis Management, Andrew brings invaluable insight into the complex emotional experiences of both dogs and their guardians. His dedication to fostering positive, force-free relationships is seen through his ongoing consultancy work with dog welfare and rescue organizations, and his commitment as a Kids Around Dogs Trainer.

Andrew has a deep passion for exploring the emotional drivers behind behaviour—whether that be in dogs or the people who care for them.

What makes Andrew’s approach particularly relevant to our conference is his deep passion for exploring the emotional drivers behind behaviour—whether that be in dogs or the people who care for them. His belief in emotional awareness and mutual respect mirrors the values we hold dear: that our relationships with dogs should be built on understanding, compassion, and a shared commitment to growth. By focusing on the emotional experience of both dogs and humans, Andrew encourages us to approach behavioural challenges with empathy, not judgment, aligning perfectly with the core of our mission: a world where dog people can thrive.

A more compassionate, understanding world for both dogs and the people who care for them.

Andrew's session will undoubtedly offer valuable insights into how we can evolve our relationships with dogs by first evolving how we engage with each other. We are excited to hear from him and know that his contributions will inspire us all to foster a more compassionate, understanding world for both dogs and the people who care for them.
