For our third gathering, we’re honored to welcome a voice from within our wider global community: Nadia Khan (Hawaii)
Nadia Khan has spent most of her adult life facilitating well-being in nonhuman animals.
From addressing the physical, psychological and emotional trauma in endangered species all over the world, to the behavior and welfare in domestic species at home in the states, some of the animals Nadia has worked with have been Asian and African elephants, great apes and other primates, horses, and many dogs.
She is now working with animals to address trauma in humans where she manages the Animal Assisted Program for exploited and trafficked girls on the island of Oahu.
The 20 individual animals at this residential facility span 10 different species, and include a canine named WILD who led her to meet Matt.
