He serves as a consultant for three global companies and Austin's largest shelter network, offering guidance on dog behavior, wellbeing, and the human-dog relationship. Matt leads free virtual workshops worldwide, develops dog-care programs for detention and recovery facilities, and advocates for animal welfare legislation as an ambassador for the Texas Humane Legislation Network. In 2023, he had the honor of unveiling the U.S. Postal Service's 50th Anniversary LOVE stamps featuring shelter dogs, a testament to his dedication to creating positive change for dogs and their people.

Matt is one of the co-creators of the Dog People Evolution Conference, aiming to establish DPE as a transformative force in the dog industry, and beyond. He lives with his family and once "impossible" dogs in Austin, TX, continuing his mission to transform the lives of dogs and their people worldwide.
